"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." - Q (Star Trek: The Next Generation)
Unfortunately, nothing nearly that exciting occurs in City Interactive's Space Interceptor. I have always been a fan of the flight simulator type games. Whether it was a plane, a helicopter or a space ship, I wanted to fly it. I enjoyed them and they had a great place in the gaming industry...ten years ago. Okay, so maybe I am being a little harsh. Space Interceptor does provide an interesting space flight simulator graphically, and it is very straightforward gameplay. What I don't understand is why this game was made so basically simple.
