Another Marketing Franchise Attempt Gone Wrong - Fear Factor Unleashed Review

Do you like being scared? If you do, then Fear Factor Unleashed may be just the game you're looking for because, frankly, this game sent me running for my life, although perhaps not for the reasons you may think. Based on NBC's popular reality TV series Fear Factor, Fear Factor Unleashed by Hip Games attempts to recreate some of the popular cut-throat, fear-inducing competitions used in the TV show. These contests ranged anywhere from swinging helicopter-to-helicopter while collecting flags, to eating all sorts of disgusting munchies in the forms of maggots and cockroaches. How does a video game do a good job of mimicking these stunts you might ask? Well, if you're looking for an answer to that question by playing Fear Factor Unleashed, I'm afraid that you'll come away fairly unsatisfied.
