Asherons Call: Ken Karl Updates on the Macro Situation

Ken Karl made a post on the Vault discussing some of the more hot button issues facing the players.

This is a good example of how things can just sneak up and bite you in the @#$. We are fixing the olthoi so they no longer get stuck.

Also, starting in March (though more in April) we will be fixing some of the perch/macro spots you guys helped to list a month ago. The wall bug fix helped a lot, but I want you to know we are following through on my propose to get rid of some obvious mistakes that have been in the game that allow combat macros to be easy, at no risk and interfere with mechanics of quests.

Yes, I know there are some of you who do not think this is enough. Well, more good news (and please, someone pass this on in hopes that people will believe we care hehe)...

We do not want to just react to the boards and not get everyone a chance to sound off on top issues. We will be doing a survey on the zone soon about a few things: Macros, 3rd Party Application, XP Chains. The goal is not only to simply find out if you like or dislike or not care, but delve into the whys.

Depending on the results, we will look into the game and see where we can grow. The solutions may not be easy, or quick, but we are very curious about how the ENTIRE userbase feels, not just a select few here (though I really appreciate your feedback).

Wonder if the Olthoi are happy they are going to be "fixed"? However, it will be very interesting to see the results of those coming polls.
