Father Kills Baby Over Game Interruption

The Mirror is reporting James Tuffs killed one of his twin sons and brutally beat the other when he became angered with the children for interrupting his play session on his GameCube. The child had multiple skull and rip fractures. Tuffs claims he fell asleep and rolled over on top of the boy, Byron, who died, but offered no explanation for the damage that came to his living brother Tyrese.

Tuffs has a history of violent outbursts when "real life" conflicts with his gaming time, his girlfriend Zoe O'Leary said.

From a gamer's prospective, it's hard to blame the GameCube for such an atrocity. One could easily replace "GameCube" with "DVD," but that doesn't dominate headlines.
