LAN Parties in Spotlight

Steven Zeitchik of the New York Times published an article in International Herald Tribune talking about the culture of your average LAN party. He follows Jame's Callari, a 36-year-old man who has been known to spend upwards of two days at a LAN party before heading home to his girlfriend.

He also goes on to briefly detail GXL, a three-day party in New Jersey, as well as some of the more LAN-happy areas in the country.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of the article is when one of the men proudly admits he's ruined relationships due to his gaming. People like that make us all look bad.
