Run for 65 Roses 5K Road Race

On Saturday, July 23rd, the WarCry Network proudly sponsored the Run for 65 Roses 5K Road Race in support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition, we're proud to have had one of our own running the race as well - Tom finished the 5k run in 22:06.

The Story of 65 Roses
Since 1965, the term "65 Roses" has been used by children of all ages to describe their disease. But, making it easier to say, does not make CF any easier to live with. The "65 Roses" story has captured the hearts and emotions of all who have heard it. The rose, appropriately the ancient symbol of love, has become a symbol of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. Further information about Cystic Fibrosis and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation can be found at http://www.cff.org.
