From SIGGRAPH: Lucas Calls for AI Push

Attending SIGGRAPH, George Lucas made the call for superior artificial intelligence in games, and has offered the LucasArts franchise to push forward development. He focused specifically on voice recognition, saying he wants AI to reach "a point where you can talk to the game and it will talk back." After suffering through his dialog, I'm not quite sure AI researchers and developers are going to want his help.
