CNet on Virtual Property

Though it's far dryer than my previous musings, CNet has a very well put together article exposing virtual property trade to the everyman. They spoke with the Terra Nova guys, who everyone knows are an academy of geniusia. They covered IGE and their ilk, but the most interesting part of the article talked about GameUSD, a Chinese firm attempting to define a currency exchange rate for every game and server. According to talking heads, the market is too volatile to quantify anything even slightly permanent. I'm inclined to agree, but how stable is the Vietnamese dong, anyway?
