Price Update on Xbox: Still Affordable

According to The Console Wars, the Xbox 360 will ship in two distinct forms: one stripped down version, and one with a hard drive and other goodies. The prices? $299 and $399, respectively. That's still well below my $500 marker, but if I were to buy all 15 of the reported games making it out at launch, my total purchase would be $1299, or just slightly more than what I'm afraid the PS3 is going to cost.
