Sony Issues Recall on PS2 AC Adapters

Following Microsoft's suit from a few months ago, Sony has issued a global recall on two types of slim PS2 AC adapters. The power units have a habit of overheating, and sometimes causing electric shock to users. But you only get a new adapter if the one causing you severe electrical burns was manufactured after 2004. Any damage caused by older models will just have to wait for the class-action suit.
