Sony Cutting Jobs. Turns Out "Let's Lose Lots Of Money For Console Bragging Rights" Not A Profitable Strategy.

Sony is cutting jobs, production plants, and "unprofitable operations," though they swear this won't have anything to do with the Playstation 3. This is a small, but troubling sign of the financial difficulties that come when losing $1 billion(!) is part of your business plan. I'm aware this is but a drop in the bucket, but enough drops in a bucket can fill it up with the water of bankruptcy and despair.
