Music Industry Stamps Feet, Demands iTunes Price Hike. Will Hold Breath Until It Turns Blue, Whine A Lot.

imageI can't think of an industry that deserves less sympathy than the music industry. They push out tons of terrible product, sue their own customers, put bizarro moon copy "protection" on CDs that renders the discs unplayable, then whine like petulant children when they don't make tons of money for conducting their business in a suicidal fashion. This latest spat with iTunes just proves my point. Dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century by Napster and its horde of file-sharing clones, the record industry signed away its rights to Apple for a song. Well, you're not going to believe this, but those CRAZY KIDS love buying music on this newfangled thing called the INTERNET. Who could've guessed it? Now that iTunes has put white earbuds in every ear, the record companies are whining and stamping their feet that they're not getting theirs.

I'll sum up this article: "WE WANT! WE WANT! WE WANT! WAHHH!" Like a whining child in the candy aisle, the music industry doesn't know what it wants and is making a lot of noise until it gets it.

We've covered this before. Joe claims I'm ripping off his headline. SYNERGY!
