NYPD Commissioner Takes a Bite out of True Crime

Turns out, the commissioner of the NYPD doesn't like it when his boys are portrayed as little more than thugs who abuse witnesses and break into houses without warrants. True Crime: New York, an upcoming detective thriller centered on a former-criminal-turned-cop who hunts down the person who killed his mentor. While the NYPD is never expressly mentioned in the game, the "PDNY" plays a prominent role. Additionally, two cops worked to lend authenticity to title; I'll leave you to your own "roughing up witnesses and breaking into apartments sans warrant" conclusions. Either way, I was on the fence before, but now that I know the fuzz isn't digging it, I'm picking up this one.
