imageNew Jersey's moving into the video game regulation racket, according to Gamasutra. Two democratic legislators are attempting to introduce penalties to retailers who sell violent video games to minors. Fines would start at $50 and ramp up to $250, which at least stays within the realm of acceptability, as compared other states which are trying to stick people with $1000 bills on a first offense. At least Jersey seems to believe giving kids something that questionably harms them is about as bad as parking in a handicapped spot.
