Interview with Roger Avary, Author of Silent Hill Screenplay
|
Adapting novels is never easy, and games can't be much better. Roger Avary, of Pulp Fiction fame, has picked up the ball on Silent Hill, working with director Christophe Gans. He talks with Edge Online about the creative process, and how he feels about turning games into movies. He drops a few snarky comments about everyone's favorite director, Uwe Boll, and also says what might be the most honest thing I've read in a very long time:
I did the Silent Hill adaptation for very little money because Sam is a close friend and Christophe is a close friend, and I wanted to live in Paris for a while on Rue des Saint-Peres.
