I thought this was an interesting article, if you ignore the pseudo-academic blather towards the end. The Washington Post profiles two gamers playing GTA: The white kid from the suburbs and the Latino kid from South Central. The white kid is firmly convinced it was made by "people who know what they're talking about," while the kid from South Central enjoys the game, but is convinced it's made by "gringos." I'm sure you'll all be as surprised as I was to find out gullible suburban teenagers will buy your "street cred" if you market it right.
