imageSnarky headline withheld because this is just too damn neat. Best Buy is considering going into the used games market in an attempt to get in on the ridiculous amount of profit EB reported last quarter.

Thing is, as games become more expensive, some people are going to do whatever they can to pay less for a game. Nearly everyone has a price threshold - mine's $30. If a game debuts for $60, I'm not buying it until the price drops, or my friend finishes it and sells it to me for half of what he paid. Certain people would argue this is bad for the industry, as used game revenue doesn't get back to the publisher. It hasn't hurt the automobile industry any more than anything else, though. All we need to see is certified pre-owned versions of Final Fantasy VII on sale in Square's online store.
