Sony Using DRM To Rootkit Your System.

This is one of those non-game related stories I feel the need to share because, frankly, I was pretty annoyed when I saw StarForce was loading up with my system (and making it chug) because I installed a CDV game many moons ago. Now, I don't use CDs much anymore, because I have an iPod and also because Sony rootkitting your system, installing stuff you can't uninstall, and then hiding it from you makes me very, very angry. Please note this isn't some Slashdot zealot shadowboxing with phantoms, it's a tight, well-written article by a non-zealot who knows his stuff, which makes it even more shocking.
