Microsoft Manufacturing 360 Shortage To Create Hype...It Works!

I became aware of the irony of the headline as I was writing it. ARS Technica (where you go to say "My hard drive is bigger than your hard drive!") has technical details on the 360, but they are also reporting that MS is restricting the number of consoles retailers get because stores with lots of big "SOLD OUT" signs will generate tons of free publicity and press. I guess it's working, isn't it?
