Jack Thompson Removes Himself from Alabama Case

Gamepolitics is reporting that Jack Thompson took himself off the Strickland vs. Sony case in Alabama, claiming "The other side wants to make me the issue." A standup move by Jack, or response to pressure from Judge Moore? Thompson claims it was his idea to step away, which might, in fact, be true. Moore hasn't yet ruled on the summary judgment motion made by Sony, which, if passed, would result in the case's dismissal before an actual trial starts. If Moore passes the motion, it would look mighty bad if Jack were still on the losing side.
