I realize video game degrees are really all the rage, but now Barnes and Noble is getting into the act with the "Discover Dungeons & Dragons" course. Except it isn't a course, really. Instead it's not even a clever set up designed to sell the attached course materials, since basically you're registering for a big game of D&D played out online. I'd say this is probably going too far trying to call it 'educational', but then again, fantasy games are popular, and learning how to laugh at other people does have merit. Besides, everyone knows D&D is more fun offline with live people, at least around here.
