Playbomb is running an article rife with tinfoilry, which is just crazy enough to be real. According to Thought Epiphany, the article's author, IGN seems to be a step ahead of everyone else when it comes to guessing about the Revolution's visuals. Think about it. Their mock-up of the Revolution was spot on. So was their applet of the controller. Is it luck, or something more sinister?
Given the nature of this industry, and the way press and PR tend to blur together (not to mention IGN was just bought out by the corporation that owns Fox News), I'm going to err on the side of collaboration, here. Believe me, I hope and pray Though Epiphany's suggestions are wrong, if only because it'd be a shame to know how low IGN's integrity has sunk. Press should be better than that; if you have an in, just announce it. It's only going to bring in more people to know you're acting as an official mouthpiece. Maybe that's not how News Corp operates.
