Gaming Industry Devotes Millions Of Dollars, Years of Time To Hardware Development. It Makes...Boobs.

imageAnd this is precisely why people snicker when you tell them you work in the gaming industry. And part of why I say games aren't art. A GamerGod writer ponders the state of jiggle tech and finds that after years in development and millions of dollars invested in R&D, the gaming industry uses its stunning new computing power to make boobs that bounce almost like the real thing. It's like the film industry finally got color film and all it could think of to do with it was fill movies with loving close-ups of cleavage. Imagine for one second that the industry used all this cool new physics stuff to, I don't know, make games with different mechanics than we can even dream of now, instead of focusing on boobs. The great irony of this is they'll devote all kinds of time on breast physics for pneumatic heroines, then fill the press with "WHY DON'T GIRLS PLAY GAMES I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND". And yea, I know the article is about feminism and stuff, but I wanted to rant.
