Sony Plans To Lose Another Billion On PS3 Just To Show MS Who's Boss

Sony may lose up to a billion on the PS3, in addition to the $2 billion they spent developing the Cell processor. Would the financial geniuses who wrote in after my Rope-A-Dope article ran like to tell me how losing $3 billion more is a stupendously awesome strategy? I just don't see the payoff coming anytime sooner than "maybe eventually". In fact, I think the 360-PS3 console wars will be an example in the future of why you don't lose millions of dollars for bragging rights. Sony, by the way, is engaging in classic Internet Toughguyness, which usually comes before a big fall (Remember "Genesis does what Nintendon't"? Yea, so do I).
