Growing up who hasn't wanted their own personal robot? In 2004, Wowee answered that need and produced the first Robosapien, the first interactive robot with dancing movement and other programmable features. This started a craze where people would create their own web sites to hack and customize their robots to work with this mp3 players and palm pilots, and the craze has only gotten bigger form there.
The following years they created the Robo Raptor and the Robo Pet. Interactive animals with responses to touch, sound and they could even interact with each other. Then came the RS2, the second in the series of Robosapien, this one not only talked but had 80 programmable features, as well as advanced movement.
This year Wowee is taking it to a whole new level with the Robo Reptile and RS Media. The Robo Reptile is a small faster version of the Robo Raptor and can walk on two legs, as well as four. The RS Media includes all of the features that the RS2 had but also is a digital interface. It has the ability to play movies, mp3's and view images. It also can record video and sound. To load the media it can take a SD card and also has an USB connection to directly connect to you computer. It's personality is also customizable with software that's provided with for you PC.
