Real life first name: Suzy
Forum handle: Issele
Main Character name: Issele
Server: Starsider
Player Association: The Revenant Guard of Alderaan
Where in the real life world do you live? Tennessee, outside of Nashville[/p]

How long have you played Star Wars: Galaxies? 2 and a half years

What other MMOs have you played? Ultima Online (I played UO for about 7 Years) and Dark Ages of Camelot.

What type of work do you do? I'm a Gaming Journalist.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars: Galaxies? I normally log in geared-up to play a few hours and that few hours usually ends up being about 4-5 hours a day. I will even confess to having played longer than that in a given day!

What does a typical Star Wars: Galaxies day consist of for you? A normal day in SWG consists of me logging in, checking IG emails, responding back to any that I need to., Then, I check my friends list to see who is online. I like to send a hello to all my guild mates in guild chat. My guild is very active and is always doing something in the game. If I do not join them, I will travel the galaxies hanging out with friends and seeing what the day brings. I rarely plan out what I do in the game because I like to be spontaneous. Also, I am normally plotting out my next player event.

What was the race and profession of your very first character? A Twi'lek whose chosen profession was, yes you guessed it, a dancer!

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I was introduced to online gaming though a friend of mine who took part in the beta for Ultima Online. When the game went live, he purchased a copy for my birthday. I have been hooked on MMORPG's ever since. The types of games I like the most are games that offer a variety of gaming styles such as role-playing, player vs. player combat, communities, and the ability to become immersed into the world I enter to play.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in other then playing Star Wars: Galaxies? When I am not gaming, I am out at my parent's farm (nestled in the Tennessee Mountains), riding horses. We currently have 3 horses and just recently purchased a Tennessee Walker. Horses are my 2nd love and passion.

What is your highest level in Star Wars: Galaxies? CL90 Elder Jedi.

What race and profession is your main character? She is a Twi'lek whose profession is Jedi.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? When I started Issele on the path of Jedi, I role-played her from a confused Padawan to a Master Jedi. This path brought me in contact with some great role-players on my server. Friends I made in game (who helped me accomplish my goal), are still friends of mine to this day. I guess you could say the most I like about the profession I chose was all the great people I got to know in the long journey that it took me to become a Jedi. The Jedi are their own community where Master Jedi assist new players starting on the path and accept new struggling Jedi - no matter what our chosen play style is - and we help each other. This was an experience I will forever be thankful to SOE/LA for providing to me as a player.

What faction is your main character? Issele is new member of the Rebellion. After serving the Empire for most of her life, she finally saw the Empire for the evil that it is.

What is your favorite player owned ship? My Yacht, though I have neglected it as of late.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? That would be my Barc Speeder.

How did you choose your main character's name? A few friends who introduced me to SWG chose the name for my character. This was one of their ploys, which worked by the way, to get me out of the land of Elves and Orcs and into the world of SWG.

Which professions in Star Wars: Galaxies have you NOT played? I have not played most of the other professions due to Issele keeping me so busy. That is just by choice.

What is your favorite expansion? I have enjoyed all the expansions. Each one holds a new experience and provides new content to consume. I cannot choose one over the other because each one gave me a new and unique gaming experience.

What is your favorite zone? On Endor there is a mountain -- it is actually the highest peak on the Forest Moon. That would be my favorite zone. When you stand on top of that mountain and look out across the planet to watch the stars rise into the night sky, it's simply breath-taking.

What is your favorite npc? Darth Vader is my favorite NPC. His life is a true epic consisting of love, tragedy, good and evil.

Which expansion do you like the least? Mustafar -- I am not a fan of instance planets.

Which zone do you like the least? Talus would be the zone I like the least due to lack of content on the planet. There is not much to do, so I rarely go there.

Which npc do you like the least? Luke, who needs to visit a Master Image Designer. That haircut he has is awful.

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? The most credits I have spent on a single item would be a rare crystal (a strangely glowing crystal), that I paid about 3 million credits for. I collect Jedi items and plan to open a Force Museum soon.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? I have a few items I no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons. I can look at those items and recall good times, great friends, and events that I helped put together for the community. I look at those items and almost re-live the events that they are attached to it. Those are my precious in-game keepsakes. They might not hold much value, but to me they are rare items indeed and I would not take a billion credits for them.

What do you like best about Star Wars: Galaxies? I like the community that I am lucky enough to be apart of the best... and all of the good friends that I have made in the few years I have played SWG. I have also met other players on other servers and there is just something special about all the communities on all the servers in SWG.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars: Galaxies? To answer this question I would have to look at what I like to do the most in SWG, and that is to create events for the community, which gives me a sense of accomplishment. To know that I in some small way put a smile on someone's face, whom I may never meet in the real world, is an awesome experience. I get a sense of contributing to a society and a community, even if it is virtual.

Describe your best experience from playing Star Wars: Galaxies? My best experience was putting on one of my fist events in SWG. It took three months of planning, decorating, scripting, and lots of support from the community. Once the event was underway, we had close to 100 players show up. I sat back and looked around the room at all the players having fun... and feeling that I had a little something to do with that fun, was worth all the hard work. During the event, I still remember the excitement in the room, when Darth Vader's ship landed outside the event hall...and seeing close to 100 players follow protocol in greeting the Dark Lord of the Empire. It was that first /tell from that event when I was sent a simple "Thank you, Issele. That was the best time I have ever had," that in return, gave me my best experience in SWG. [p]Do you run or work for a Star Wars: Galaxies Fan Site? I work for The Galaxy Report Fan Site where I write editorials about different aspects of SWG and other Games. Be sure to check out the recent interview I did with Pex! TGR has a weekly Podcast produced live every Saturday Night. http://www.thegalaxyreport.com/tgr/
