Another week, another update! This week we bring you a look at the Darkfall Online engine from the perspective of the lower grade PC user. These shots have all been taken with a low end video card. Krush of Darkfall Information website has posted some images of the ilk a little while back, so if you happened to miss those ones, take a look at them here.
As you can see, even on a low grade video card, the visuals are not at all bad! Unfortunately, at this time I don't have the information on hand as to what exactly entailed a 'Low grade' video card. But we do know from past experience with these devs that they don't mind words, and don't create what they so accurately called, 'Bullshots' where everything is cranked up to a point no system in existance would ever reach a playable framerate on, just to hype the engine. So when they say low end, I think we can safely say it would be reasonable.
If we're able to get the details on the system those shots were taken on, we'll be sure to let you know. :)
Before ending however, I'd like to point you all again to the original Dragon Armor shots, to show the full spectrum of scalability and power of the Darkfall Engine, especially for those that missed them the first time around!
Til next week, that's us!
Speaking of next week though, if all goes to plan, we may well be able to bring you a little more than only screenshots! We cannot confirm this as a certainty as yet, the future is a tricksy thing to be sure. But there is at least a good chance! So see you then!
