Ryzom: Saga of Ryzom Name change?

Relatively big news at Nevrax, which actually took me by suprise this morning.

To quote CL Marjo:

With the many Ring demos we've presented lately, and also to make it easier for a larger audience and journalists to link Rē and Ryzom, we have simplified the name of the game to "Ryzom" instead of "The Saga of Ryzom". We're also introducing a new logo, keeping the single word "Ryzom" on it. The goal is to have an easier name for people who don't know the game yet to find. It should also help communication about Ryzom.

So, what will change for you? The introduction of this simplified logo will be made progressively, so the one on the website and the game client won't be changed yet. However, you may start to see a new Ryzom logo popping up in adverts and conventions, which looks like this :

Besides the logo, nothing else will change. We want to emphasise that the modification concerns only the name and not the saga itself. We keep working on the storyline, with our Event Team bringing plots and entertainment to your daily life on Atys as they always did. :)
