EA to Release 7th DAoC Expansion

"Electronic Arts announced today Labyrinth of the Minotaur, the seventh expansion to the epic fantasy MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot. Currently in development at EA Mythic (formerly Mythic Entertainment), the expansion is scheduled to ship in the US in late 2006 for the PC.

"I can't think of any better way to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Dark Age of Camelot than with the release of a new expansion for the players," said Walt Yarbrough, Producer of Dark Age of Camelot. "This exciting, story-driven content will bring new thrills to an already vibrant and thriving game world. There is no better time to be playing Camelot than right now!""

Apparently, the new expansion will introduce the playable Minotaur race, humanoid bulls so strong they can wield two-handed weapons in one hand. Anyway, it's interesting to see that DAoC still has some life in it, even after the EA-Mythic takeover.
