Penny Arcade Presents: Penny Arcade: The Game!

At Penny Arcade Expo, no less.

Gabe, Tycho, Div, Annarchy, and the rest are making their way into gaming. Well, more so than they already do. You know what I mean. The duo behind the wildly successful webcomic are partnering up with Hothead Games to produce an episodic series of video games based on the characters of the comic. Initially, the game will be released for PC, Linux, and Mac, though they say console releases are not out of the question.

""We're really excited to be working with Hothead Games on our first electronic adventure," said writer Jerry "Tycho" Holkins. "From the moment we laid eyes on them, it was clear they had the technical and creative chops to execute our grim vision. Now that we have pooled our strengths, our dark work may truly begin.""

The first game in the series, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, will be sold and distributed digitally, though the precise method of delivery and release date is as of yet unknown.

Personally? I'm waiting for a Dr. Raven Darktalon Blood game. That'd be sweet.
