Shifting focus onto the TV instead of the PC for a moment--an article on the upcoming PS3 over at Wired.com has been brought to my attention, and it's worth a perusal. Frank Rose neatly ennumerates Sony's recent, turbulent past, and talks about how much this multi-billion corporation is riding on the success of this one machine. If you're interested in the PS3 or the upcoming Console Wars, you should check this one out.

"Sixty years after its founding in the ashes of postwar Tokyo, the company that gave us the transistor radio and the Walkman portable music player is deeply wounded. ... Great article, guys. Check it out at Wired.com.
