The crew at Gamasutra have a rather thoughtful piece up on the emerging state of the PC Gaming sector. With the launch of the PS3 and Wii looming just over the horizon, it's no surprise that the industry has been focused on the living room instead of the PC room (or wherever you put it). Yet as everybody gears up for the next episode of Console Wars, the problems and issues with gaming on the PC are rapidly becoming more transparent and evident.
And at the middle of the whole bru-ha-ha are those of us who take gaming far too seriously. Gamasutra's "Analyze This" column this month takes a look at the state of the PC gaming market through the eyes of three people: "Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter, Screen Digest's Ed Barton, and DFC Intelligence's David Cole."
If you're at all interested in gaming--and if you're here, I assume that's the case--you should head on over and check it out, because it's worth the read.
