Everquest 2: More Echoes of Faydwer Goodies

With the Echoes of Faydwer beta set to start next week, anticipation is high to see any tidbit or snippet of information related to SOE's largest expansion for Everquest 2.

Here are EQ2 Warcry, our informers at the Department of Gnomeland Security leaked news to us that the alertlog.txt file of the Everquest 2 client had started to report some very interesting errors, revealing the names of several effects from the upcoming expansion.

In addition to general references to such relatively mundane listings as "steamfont_geysers" and "steamfont_steam_tubes", there were also references to the following:

Just what exactly is a ferox? Will players be able to flap around in bat form, or is that only for those lucky Mistmoore vampires? Will we enjoy listening to Kendricke's "general_sermon" as much as he enjoys thinking we enjoy his enjoyment of them? Only time will tell.
