World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Ranks

There seems to be a tad bit of confusion about ranks being reset to 0 (zero) with The Burning Crusade expansion, here is what Drycs from Blizzard had to say about it:

You will be able to display your highest rank achieved, if you so choose, through a new title display menu. It is not planned to have any affect on the new honor system or otherwise aside from a legacy title.

We are planning at some point to bring the current rank titles back to be obtained in other ways. The arenas will have their own titles associated with the rankings there, and there is the possibility of titles being given out through various other means.
