Neverwinter Nights 2: DM Client: The Real Deal

Not "fakey" being worked on in the sense of writing a design doc, but programmers are actually implementing/re-implenting its features right now. They are on schedule for the functionality that I believe I previously outlined, being similar to what was in NWN1 prior to the 1.67 patch.

Just so there is no confusion, this is a pretty nut-and-bolts implementation aimed at giving DMs the basic, solid features they need to DM a module. It will not have crazy/amazing abilities that go beyond your wildest dreams. We are taking this approach because we want to make sure we can give people something useful and reliable in a short frame of time.

While it would be great to commit to a specific date when the DMC will be available, this post isn't going to contain any such commitment. But I did want to let people know that it's not something that we're sweeping under the rug. We're really doing it... for realz.
