In a recent study by Famitsu Weekly in Japan, opinions about the upcoming next-gen systems and the upcoming video games were captured through multiple questions.
Under the most anticipated upcoming games category, Metal Gear Solid beat Final Fantasy XIII (along with Blue Dragon and Zelda Twilight Princess). For upcoming handheld titles Pokemon Diamond & Pearl were voted more anticipated than Final Fantasy V.
