Where in the real life world do you live? I live in Dessau, a small town in Germany, south of Berlin. It is most known for the Bauhaus school, an art and design school that heavily influenced modern architecture in the 20th century.

How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I have played since July 2003, so more than 3 years.

What other MMOs have you played? I have played Ultima Online and City Of Heroes.

What type of work do you do? I am a student, going for my high school degree.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? My typical gaming session is around two to four hours. Sometimes I play for more then six hours, which is still less then what I used to play in the past.

What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? I log in, check my friends list, get into conversations, plan events, look for role-play, and enjoy myself with other people in the community. If not for the fun, what would I be playing for?

What was the race and profession of your very first character? He was human and I started as marksman.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? Some friends of my parents played Civilization and they got me interested in computer games. Since I like single player games, you can find me spending hours on NFL Head Coach or Brothers in Arms and right now, I am playing No One Lives Forever 2. I also like role-playing games and simulations nothing beats CounterStrike during a LAN party (maybe Battlefield 1942 does). So, whatever game manages to grab my attention with its story and features is worth playing.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing Star Wars Galaxies? I play soccer in a soccer club, have way too many parties to attend with friends, and enjoy listening to music or just writing stories. Whatever is a challenge in some way or another is worth a try.

What is your highest level Character in Star Wars Galaxies? Combat Level 50.

What race and profession is your main character? He is a human officer.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? The officer should be a supporter of his group. He dedicates himself to his fellow group members and leads their way while supporting them to do their job. Since I enjoy that role in role-play, I also took it in Star Wars Galaxies. To be honest there is nothing cooler than calling in the artillery. "We need artillery fire on that position, out." *Wham!*

What faction is your main character? He was neutral for a very long time, but since I enjoy stormtrooper role-play, I decided to join the Imperial side. Sorry, rebels.

What is your favorite player owned ship? My favorite is the Royal Guard TIE Interceptor for looks and the Sorosuub Yacht for being a cool utility. (I am also a very weak pilot, so, well, I suck).

What is your favorite ground vehicle? The Flash speeder is my favorite and it is truly unique.

How did you choose your main character's name? It is a long story, but I will keep it short. I mixed up the initials of my brother and I, then combined it with a workaround on the word Jedi and mixed in some vocals to make it Star Warsy sounding.

Which professions in Star Wars Galaxies have you NOT played? I have not played all of them. I have played marksman, brawler, scout, squad leader, pistoleer, officer, and Jedi.

What is your favorite expansion? All of them because they either introduced awesome features or a lot of new content. I have them all, but I do not use them as much as I probably should.

What is your favorite planet? Naboo - I love playing as the Royal Security Force.

What is your favorite NPC? The Stormtrooper.

Which expansion do you like the least? None - they were all valuable at some point for the overall picture of the game and I think that is what I should base my opinion on.

Which planet do you like the least? Tatooine - just to tease some fellow players. I actually own a house there and I started my SWG experience there and loved it.

Which NPC do you like the least? I do not have a least favorite NPC.

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I once purchased a real nice FWG5 pistol for 800k, but shortly after I put my anti-decay kit on it, it somehow became rather weak and useless. Oh, and decay was taken out too...

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? I have a whole room in my main house dedicated to the items I bought at the very beginning of my Galaxies career. It features some furniture, clothes, and a rare food item created by one of the most well known veteran crafters on Gorath and in the German community - Quand-Nel.

What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? I enjoy meeting cool people, sharing my love Star Wars, role-playing, and the chance to meet some of my in-game friends in real life. Thanks to all the players out there, you are Star Wars Galaxies.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies? What I get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies is friendship, stories, memories, fun, and parties.

Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies? Since I have had a lot of great experiences with people in-game and have run (and participated in) a lot of awesome events...I just had to pick a real life experience in order to answer this question. Working as a translator and running demos for Lucas Arts at the Games Convention in Leipzig recently made the top of my Star Wars Galaxies world.

Do you run or work for a Star Wars Galaxies Fan Site? I have been on the team for SWG/DE, the German fan and community site for Star Wars Galaxies since the beginning of 2005. It is a good feeling to give something back.
