Designer's Notes

During early pre-production of Neverwinter Nights 2, Old Owl Well jumped out as a prime location for adventuring. It would give us a different environment to explore in, the orcs and other beasties that are denizens of the Sword Mountains would make for fun, combat-oriented adventuring, and the cyclical clashes between the orcs and Neverwinter would allow us to tie the location directly to events going on within the city.
