1)Could you tell us a little bit about the background of your guild and how you got started? Has your guild been established for a while in other games or will Darkfall be your first?

Dark Side of the Moon originally started in Anarchy Online, back in 2002 under the name of Storm Keepers. In Anarchy Online we were a major political clan, and were one of the most active PvP clan's in the game. We owned a very large amount of land, and we played until 6 Months after the release of World of Warcraft. We transferred to try World of Warcraft out, which is where we first used our current name, but after 9-10 months we decided it did not provide the environment we wanted to play in. We awaited the Dark and Light release, and in the meanwhile played EvE Online. Dark and Light flopped on upon release, and we continue to play EvE Online to this day as we await Darkfall as a Small and Tight Knit PvP Guild. We do nothing *but* PvP, and that is how we make our money ^.-! We are going to continue to play EvE Online as we await the release of Darkfall.

2)Does the guild fit into a profile such as rp, pk, anti-pk, rpk etc?

Our clan has been anywhere from 250 people (Anarchy Online) to 15 people (EvE Online) in the past. We greatly vary per each game we play, but we *always* strive to be the best at either PvP or Conquest.
If you had to label us, we could fit in snuggly under the "Pk" Label.

3)Do you encourage crafting and or roleplaying?

Roleplaying we do not encourage. Crafting we will encourage and assist with in Darkfall, due to the strategic importance of having good crafters. We will do whatever we need to win.

4)What race or races will "Dark Side of the Moon" be? If a recruit is not this race will they not be accepted?

Dark Side of the Moon is currently teetering between Ork/Mahirim and Alfar. We will make a final decision once Darkfall has a scheduled release date. Race will not be part of the recruitment criteria as of now, but once we enter beta, we expect every member to go along with the choice that we decide as a clan via vote.

5)What kind of organization and structure do you use? How can your new members expect to interact with their leaders?

Dark Side of the Moon is very loose in structure regarding roles and abilities to help moderate the corporation. Normally I take it by a case by case basis and award abilities as such. We have a few rankings, but mostly for show that really don't hold a lot of weight behind them.

Regarding new member interaction with leadership: The leadership wont just sit around in a castle or in a capital like some guild's do, we are probably some of the heaviest power gamers around and whenever you get on, we will probably already be out killing people.

6)How large is your clan now? What size of member-base do you see yourself targeting? How large will your guild become?

15 Members Currently, we plan to adapt our size to whatever our play style requires. Do *not* expect us to *ever* go mass recruiting just for members, we are *very* strict on those we accept.

We don't target a member-base size, they just try to get in and we either refuse or accept ^.-.

Our guild can become as large, or as small, as it needs to be. As I said in our history, we have had a high of 250, and the current low of 15.

7)Do you have any special requirements in joining or being a guild member? (amount of time playing/age/etc.)

Amount of time playing is always a constant variable due to the changing of the game. We don't require time playing, but the proficiency to operate with us effectively through use of extreme knowledge, Player Character and personal abilities. Age will not be asked, but if you are not mature, or seem to be of any way an annoyance or retard, we will refuse your acceptance, and kick you if you ever made it into the clan (Not going to happen).

We do expect that every member play at the very least 25 hours a week. We also expect an aura of professionalism and ability to learn, and a desire to fight or excel at what you do.

Each person must be able to fully follow orders from someone who is in command of their group, team, squad, gang (Etc), fully and to the word without question. Questions, comments, and doubt's can be announced after the fight, not during.

Those are the only real "Guidelines" I have with recruitment that I have made for myself, but there are many other questions that I ask prospective members. Whenever we talk of someone joining it's always passed by me, I always get down and talk to them, and I make sure you are what we want.

8)What type of player are you looking for, and what makes joining your clan different from a benefits perspective than joining any other clan?

We are looking for players, as I said above, that are extremely active with their game time, can provide a professional attitude, will be mature and understanding in all ventures, can follow orders, will bring something useful and unique to the table, and are enjoyable people.

9)How would one apply to your guild?

You would contact me at Stormsblade@hotmail.com

10)Please make any additional comments you would like now:

There currently is a few spots left on our "Primary" (First Pick), beta list. If you wish to apply, contact me as I said above. If you wish for an ingame alliance, don't ask, because we don't make allies unless we think they are deserving. That's about all I would like to say. Good luck to everyone, and see you ingame ^.-!
