Shane also posted a bit of information about the future of the official forums at the Bioware site in the post-release world of NWN 2:

I know many people have been wondering whats going to happen to the NWN2 forums once the game launches. Without going into detail onthe specifics just yet, I want to let everyone know that the plan is for the main discussion forums to remain here and be relaunched and expanded. While there will be tech support NWN2 forums on the Atari community site those will be technical in nature for things like bug reporting or if you have a problem of some sort. We'll have more details on what the new expanded forums will look like very soon. But I wanted to give everyone a heads up so that they know come next week we will all still be here.
