Neverwinter Nights 2: Official Forums to Archive & Relaunch

In preparartion for the release of Neverwinter Nights 2, BioWare is going to be archieving the current forums and launching the release forums. This will be happening tomorrow Thursday October 26 at noon Edmonton time.

What does this mean? Basically there will be a short "reboot" period where all of the existing threads and posts will disappear (we will transfer the more important "stickied" threads to the new boards). Then the new "ready for release" boards will go live. Once the archiving is complete (approximately 24 hours later) the current posts will be available again for viewing.

Once the new forums go live you will all be able to post in the NwN2 General Discussion forum and the NwN2 Toolset forum (so pre-release toolset owners can continue to to discuss the toolset). Only people that have a NwN2 cd key registered will be able to post in the other NwN2 forums. We're looking forward to seeing who gets the first CD key registered and posts. For NwN1 it was a person in Israel, we'll see who gets it this time.

There will not be any forum downtime during this process. We're just alerting you to the fact that current threads and questions will disappear when the new forums go live tomorrow.
