Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2 At Direct 2 Drive

Thanks to Maximus at the Vault for the announcement that NWN 2 is now pre-loading files for day-of-release play. Essentially, you download the NWN 2 files today and when the game becomes available on store shelves on October 31, 2006, the files become playable. You can head to Direct-2-Drive and get your files downloaded today.

***Disclaimer: There is a chance that the files from Direct 2 Drive are altered in such a way as to make patching the game impossible until the D2D people alter the patch files to fit the .exe file. When NWN 1 was available as a digital download, it was NOT multiplayer compatible and patches took months to be altered for installation. So...as always, we leave you with wise words. Caveat Emptor.
