World Of Warcraft: BC Question: What exactly can you make with high jewelcrafting?

I see jewelcrafting, and it looks awesome. The question
comes in then, what are some of the better items you can make? How far has
it been taken? Could you use that "prospecting" on dark iron ore and what
rewards would you get there? What does prospecting on each of the ores
generally give you? What kinds of trinkets can you make and at what level?

The Answer:
Well, unfortunately I am not that high in jewelcrafting yet, but we are working on getting some gold on to my character so that I can grind it up! I will post more about this once I have more jewelcrafting.
