Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2 Review at Just Press Play: 8.3/10.00

Just Press Play has the second of today's reviews. Again, their review is pretty much lined up along the industry median. They assign NWN 2 an 8.3/10.00 and say:

They did put something into the game that made it much more worthwhile to play than the storyline. That little thing is your very own keep. This is something they've been hyping up for a rather long time now, and I must say, I truly enjoy this feature. With the keep, you'll get to make all sorts of choices. Such as whether you'd like to set your soldiers out to patrol, recruit, or even do special assignments. It doesn't sound like much, but when you're trying to tame the world with fifty men, your choices count.

One of the other things you can do for your fort is gather up shopkeepers and smiths for it, along with the miners to go get the ore to upgrade some of the places within your fort. Thankfully the only places that you have to have ore for to upgrade are your armor and weapon smiths. Due to the shopkeepers and smiths you can gather, if you ever want something, just head home and you'll be able to find it. Even just after you get the two smiths you can find weapons and armor that cost over 100k a piece.
