A Pirates Life

Avast there, me hardies! If ye be looking for adventure, mystery, and total domination of the sea, well look no more. Currently in closed beta, Pirates of the Burning Sea, created by Flying Lab Software, offers historically accurate battles, role play, questing, PvP on land and sea, and a deep storyline that ensures everyone who dares adventure a good time.

In this new and strategic MMORPG, players will be able to choose their job and what civilization they want to be. Newcomers will be able to choose to ally themselves with Britain, Spain, France, or Pirates. This game also caters to all walks of life of gamers, whether you are there for PVP, questing, or just merchandising (for those of you who are greedy out there); you will not be let down.

If you love PvP or PvE this game will let you know where to go, and vice versa, if you hate PvP this game will let you know where to stay away from. Unlike many other games, PvP zones will grow and shrink depending on the community of players and their decisions on lands and ports they want to capture. So, if your guild or civilization is in need of certain materials for your boats or merchants, then you might want to consider holding a large PvP battle to take over areas that have special resources not offered by other lands.

Also offered is a historically accurate storyline. The game launches players into their own instances to start their journey into PotBS and be able to re-enact epic battles that you have only been able to imagine from books.

If you love sailing and want to have a really big ship, this game is perfect for you. You will be allowed to have a multitude of ships that you can build upon to help your nation fight for territory or for the casual sailor who likes to show off their sparklies. Battles are instanced, but if you need help you can shoot off a signal flare which will alert your friends to come to your aide. You also have to be aware of Pirates, because those scurvy dogs may try to up and steal your vessel right out from under you. But even if you do loose your boat, there is no fear; you can always get another schooner from the Harbor Master if you run out of ships.

Another component included in The Burning Sea is Avatar to Avatar combat unlike any other. Players will have a balance meter in combat which will either help them or hinder them opening them up to special attacks like backstabbing. And as a little hint... If you want to grab some dirt off the ground and throw it into your opponent's eyes... be my guest. In, Pirates of the Burning Sea, players will be immersed in a fully interactive environment.

Pirates of the Burning Sea will be releasing in June 2007, offering a new style of MMORPG for gamers world-wide, and will be offering a monthly fee to play that is well worth it!
