World Of Warcraft: Regarding Honor Costs of Items

So, the patch has been out for a week and you already have your High Warlord/Grand Marshal set. This can't be right, so you assume prices are going to go up or else everyone is going to be wearing HW/GM armor ...

Well, that's not exactly the case:

More than likely the prices will be adjusted for the current honor rewards when the expansion releases to reflect their 'value' more appropriately when compared to expansion items.

That would mean the prices would be going down though, not up.

Yes, that's right. When TBC launches, honor costs of items are most-likely going down.
