I arrived back from a quick trip to Stormwind to visit my favorite warlock trainer, and to my surprise, I had people in the inn offering me quests.

Today's spec: Heavy affliction. 46/5. Disclaimer: I came from an affliction build, so I know how to drain tank things and solo. Regardless, the spec had some new toys I had been curious about. (What up, Unstable Affliction.)

Don't you know better than to bug an old man in his cups?
Well, what fun would that be? These guys in the inn have quests! You have to bug them!

Time to head out, already. That quest list sure is filling up - but wait, now that you have done a few quests in Honor's Hold, everyone wants to talk to you, including Tracy Proudwell (who provides the first 'capture the flag' style PVP mission, !Hellfire Fortifications).

Additionally, right outside Honor Hold you will find a mine. Honor Hold's built on top of it, actually. !This Mine's a'Rockin' is a typical clear the mine quest given to you by Foreman Biggums, ala Northshire Kobolds - except you don't really have to go very far in. These minions are working the mines (Gan'arg Sappers) under wandering succubi known as Maidens of Pain. You have to kill 12 of them. Outside the mine you will find a sporadic spawn of Marauding Crust Bursters, making this !A Job for an Intelligent Man. (Or woman! Kill 15, anyway). Once you handle the minions of the mines, you get sent back in to kill the leader (!The Mastermind). Simple and soloable, just clear the rest of the room before you pull the "boss-let" (he's just level 62, at 60 you can handle this).

Time to head back to Expedition Point for another free ride..

Back to Shatter Point for !Mission: The Abyssal Shelf. This mission is a blast - and best of all - you can repeat it! Any class accustomed to using AOE will have no problem aiming for these targets as you fly around in several circles over the area. Notice the slow transitioning away from Tier 1/2 gear?

It's not entirely replaceable yet, but it does look better than any green leveling up before sure did. So far I've gotten a wand, a staff, that circlet, and the robe (which isn't a robe so much as it is a trendy little shirt that matches the circlet). I had so much fun doing the Abyssal Shelf quest I repeated it once to see if I could get more XP/rep. (Apparently not, but I suspect at some point you could get some.) Following the sensible path, I took another flight as suggested (!Go to the Front) by Wing Commander Gryphongar to speak with Field Marshal Brock at nearby Honor Point, a small post near the Legion Front.

Field Marshal Brock is fairly pleased to see you, in a disgruntled way - but he offers you a quest too: !Disruption - Forge Camp: Mageddon. Forge Camp: Mageddon is to the west, and you are instructed to kill the Gan'arg Servants (10) and the master, Forgefiend Razorsaw.

People you're getting rep with: Honor Hold
New flightpoints: None, you just get to use the already existing paths.

It looked like a good place to stop, so I did for now.
