World Of Warcraft: Tis the Season for Questing!

Start out with -
Greatfather Winter
Location: Ironforge, Orgrimmar

All Greatfather Winter wants is five Gingerbread cookies and some milk. Now, multiply this request by all 7.5 million reported players. That's a lot of cookies. While you're in the city, pick up the The Reason for the Season, which will send you to speak to Historian Karnik at the Explorer's League in Ironforge OR Sagorne Creststrider in the Valley of Wisdom of Orgrimmar.

You'll get the "The Feast of Winter Veil" book which must be delivered to:
King Magni Bronzebeard in Ironforge OR Cairne Bloodhoof in Thunder Bluff

Ready to head out? Grab the Smokeywood Pastures Missing Shipment mission and Metzen the Reindeer.

The Missing Shipment will take you into the Alterac Mountains. Go towards the Yetis and not the ogres to find the strange snowman between the trees. He'll send you around the corner to kill the Greench. Not too bad, really.

Head off to rescue Metzen the deer for more fun - it is a bit more challenging. I picked Tanaris for my rescue, although you certainly can go for the Blasted Lands if you want. I was headed to Silithus anyway, so it was just easier.

Now the good stuff about Winter Veil:
Fast rep and easy gold. Tis the season!
Winter Wondervolts are scattered around the land - try just outside cities and outposts and turn yourself into a little holiday helper for a half hour.
Jinglepocket Goblins' Fare Shops have all the holiday goodies you need, including wrapping paper for gifts (all my gifts seem to be stackable, though), snowballs, candy canes, and other treats. Stock up on Holiday Spices for mid-summer cookie baking - you can't get them any other time! The vendors are right by Greatfather Winter. Pick up your eggnog and gingerbread cookie recipes right here.
Snowballs are a total hit in battlegrounds this year, if my guildmates are too be believed. Whap those AFKers good. You can buy them, get them crafted by engineers, or head up to Alterac Mountains and collect some.

Knock people off the bridge in AV for good times.
Snowmen costumes are powered by snowballs and to get a disguise kit you have to go questing. Good thing you have this guide.
Once an hour, kiss the revelers by the mistletoe for fresh holly and mistletoe (it is random). The holly will turn your mount into a festive deer.
At 300 cooking (so I am told), you get an additional quest to learn how to preserve your holly for year round use. Time to skill up!
