From the Crimson Knights of Solclaim comes this creative take on the classic poem:[blockquote]'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Dereth,
Not a creature was stiring not even a Shreth.
The gold chainmail leggings were hung by the hearth with great care,
In hopes that ST. Asheron soon would be there.
The newbies were nestled all snug in their beds,
Hoping that Martine would not spawn and bash in their heads.
And momma in her Chirian dress and I in my crown,
Had just settled in and about to get down.
When outside the Villa there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I ran with a huff,
I thought to myself,"Hey, i better buff".
I rubbed my eyes to clear them of sludge,
Thats when i saw it, a sleigh pulled by 8 little Drudge!
With a little old driver so lively and calm,
I knew in a moment it must be Asheron.
More rapid than Python Wasps his courses they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name.
"Now, Peerless now Cabilist now Gloom and Lurker,
On Mystic, on Bloodletter on Altered and Stalker"!
"To the top of the courtyard, to the top of the wall",
"Now Imp away, Imp away, Imp away all!"
So up to the Villa top the Drudges they flew,
With a sleigh full of majors and Asheron too!
And then in a twinkle I heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawning of each Drudges hoof!
As i drew sword in my hand and was turning around,
Down the hearth St. Asheron came with a bound.
He was dressed all in Covenant from his head to his foot,
And his armor was covered in ashes and soot.
A bundle of majors he flung on his back,
And he looked like a Town Crier just opening his pack.
He spoke not a word and went straight to his work,
And filled all the legging's then turned with a jerk.
A selection of Melee wands one he then chose,
A smile he then gave me and up the Hearth he rose.
One final thought before he flew out of sight,
" MERRY CHRISTMAS TO DERETH, AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!" [/blockquote]
