Misty Isle is known to be a very dangerous place to live and very few of its inhabitants are free from being cursed by the misterious and powerful Terian Queen. However with the recent crescendo in the wars between northii and fangii, Misty Isle is often used by war refugees and as a last resort to boats attacked by the terrible Kraken that inhabits the Innerseas of the Fish.

Though arriving at Misty Isle is not uncommon or hard, it's leaving the wretched place that poses the biggest of problems. Due to the wars there are very few boat captains that venture that far from their hometowns and often those living in the mists of that cursed land are hunted by weird creatures and turned into complete beasts... rumours speak of a low-life scoundrel that often smuggles people out of the island.

One of the safest places (if not the only) in Misty Isle is the Hamlet of Whispering Willow where the population learned to live with the surrounding menace and to control it somehow. Nonetheless, as they often say, they are all alone with their safety!
